A close fight!!!

It was so close!!! VR target 200 at 0837hrs, but eventually finished at abt 0850hrs? Did not stay till the very end cux we noe we lost the 200!!! And we hafto settled for 199??!!! Like wat the hell?? Missed by 1 pt?? AHH!!!! So bu gan xin lor!!!! *humpf*

Whole night, Chia n i jux kept looking n staring at this vessel n cracking our brain.. We totally ignore the other vessel.. haha.. Ops!!! Poor day shift who hafto picked up the shit tat we left behind.. =\

But hey?? Tats because the whole world is concern wif the VR 200 so of course our priority is on tat mah..

Took over when sailing time is 1100am, we managed to set to 1000hrs at full confidence tat it wld finish in time.. Took over wif 4 out of 7 cranes touching the 930am line? When handed over, left wif 2 long cranes to cheong.. Guess tats quite an achievement alr??

Well, though kinda disappointed n tired from last night shift.. but i feel good.. Cux first time handling such big throughput and high target!! It was indeed challenging n fun?? hehe.. Cux it'll force u to keep thinking n coming up wif alternatives n ideas.. and tats when i learn.. =)

Had an idea of working from the back.. it is definitely untraditional and non-conventional.. haha.. I was very keen on finding out whether my idea will work.. but Chia said mayb not this time cux we cant afford to tk such risk.. better to work within our comfort zone so we cld haf better control i guess?? But i printed the sequence out n can ask my DOM next time.. He's a real hardcore guru in running operations.. haha.. So if he thinks my idea might work, i'll be damn happy lah!!! hehe.. cux i think out of the box??

Seriously, i do enjoy my job.. Cux it challenges me n gif me great satisfaction when i hit or even to exceed the target.. except for the fact tat the working hrs r damn long n i cant always meet my love or spend the weekends wif her.. but baby, jux bear wif it ok?? I'll work my way up n my time wld be more stable when i turned non-shift k? Lets strive hard for our career so we cld haf a better retirement?? haha..
